“Both husband and wife should share each other’s burdens. It is not just a woman's responsibility to take care of the house, I promised Veena to share the load and that is what I intend to do,” says Anant who in the recently posted second video tells Veena that she should not worry and they both will share their burden.
The second video sees Veena telling Anant that she doesn’t like to spend her days and evenings in the kitchen cooking. Anant responds by telling his wife that while she cooks chapatti, he will help her cook dal.
The couple has also thanked people for making their wedding a memorable one by liking their video.

Anant and Veena who have been friends for 8-9 years have set the internet on fire with their adorable chemistry and soulful singing on their wedding in Delhi on February 10 this year.
On their wedding day, the bride and the groom sang their own version of the popular song Kothe Te Aa by singers Jagjit and Chitra Singh. The full video was later shared by the groom along with a tweet thanking people for all the love and blessings the newlyweds received.
When asked about the chemistry both shared in the viral video, Anant quipped, “I think that’s what happens when you marry your best friend.”
Veena, who is from Delhi, met Anant in Mumbai after a reality show through friends. She had started doing live shows at that time.
Punjabi Tappes
Both Anant and Veena love Punjabi Tappes, especially by Jagit Singh. “We both are huge Jagit Singh’s fan,” says Anant.
While Anant is a poet, lyricist, writer, Veena is a singer. Anant reveals that the lyrics of the song were written by him for the parents of the bride.
The video, which has been sung in Punjabi sees Veena teasing Anant to trim his beard. The couple engages in playful banter throughout the entire song!

When asked what brought them this innovative idea, Anant says, “We are creative people. I am a writer and my wife is a singer. Generally, in weddings we sing, dance or perform on film songs but we thought why not have something original of our own for our wedding. We didn’t prepare much, it was a last minute thing.'

He adds, “We just practiced it once and we sang it. We didn’t even plan how are we going to sing it and if it will be shot at all. Even if you see the video it was a regular videographer shooting capturing us.”

Anant says that a few days before the wedding they decided and wrote the song. “I wrote everything because I am a writer. She told me what she felt about it and I incorporated my feelings in the song and it happened,” he added.
“I did not have to actually make a story. I did not have thought much of what should be there in the song. We just had a chat and we decided and came up with the idea of having something funny and something of our own,” adds Anant.
When asked why he was seen sporting his beard in the second video despite assuring Veena in the first one to trim it, Anant says, “I was asked by Veena’s parents to trim my beard. People haven’t seen me before the video from my marriage that has gone viral. I had 12-inch long beard. I actually trimmed my beard for the wedding.”
